1st day back

The list of what we needed to do was MUCH larger than the time we had today!
(My head was swirling with to do's & I really wasn't planned for the day today.)

Superkid prayed and read this morning in his closet!!! YES!

Lots of cleaning up to do today (from the weekend, etc.)

9:30 - Breakfast (went over ksv, manners, and thankful journal)

The kids worked well together with their *New* Math. YAY!

Superkid read about weather in the 1950's text book I picked up the other day. It's a neat little book with lots of different science subjects. He read about 25 pages in it today.

Litte Bear did phonics with me

12:15 - Lunch

Listen to bible while sorting laundry
(Write Outline on board)

Read Step By Step: "I Saw God Wash The World"

2:15 - Play outside with Bubbles!

3:00 Superkid is working on his report right now on the different types of storms. He probably won't finish today, because we need to get ready for the evening. I'm making pizza for dinner (we pick up the dough from Winco & usually chop some chicken & throw some veggies on there) Mmmm, I'm getting hungry thinking about it! LOL!

We really didn't do a super heavy school day today. Honestly I think it's expected, since it's almost like coming back from a sumer break or something. Plus, I hadn't really wrote a "To Do List" for the day. Usually I plan the night before to see what all we need to accomplish (school & otherwise) for the day. I was kinda "winging it." By the way, I call "heavy days" days that I teach them. Otherwise, it is more of an "independent day" to me.

I just thought it would be fun to let you peek into a day of our school. :o)

Hope your day was blessed in Jesus!
