My inbox has been full of inspiration...

But first an update:

GOD IS SOOO FAITHFUL!!!!!

I found my son today.
In the midst of repentance and forgiveness.
We are once again best friends.

I had pushed him away in my critical and bitter spirit and didn't know the path how to restore our relationship once again. It came by a heart felt repentant cry to God, tears running down my face type "I'm sorry Lord."

Jesus showed me how "self-rightous" I have acted. I found myself complaining about my sweet boy, while acting like I was not to blame. By speaking down to him and complaining about him, I realize I was trying to make myself look good...what a fool.

My job as a mom is to teach, to guide and to help.

If I have not given him enough time to learn, then my job is not to condemn but to PRAY and LOVE.

We have not arived. But, we're on the right path once again.

Praise God!!!

Here's something a friend of mine sent to me:
"What would Jesus teach?"

Last week was...well...

...a little different.

Since we had a revival all week as I mentioned, I was keeping it pretty light in the school department. Which was good, because God was working very deeply in some other areas.

Those of you on the SOW yahoo group know what I'm talking about. (wink, wink)

You all have become such great friends even in the short time I've "met" you. I am so thankful for all your input and your caring thoughts. Your emails have meant a lot to me and I've treasured your thoughtfulness.

For anyone else who may be reading this...

I poured out my heart and situation (sort of on accident, because I was just writing specifically to one person) on the yahoo group. God knew what He was doing because I was able to get so many replies that literally are changing my life and home!

With that, I'm going to link to one of the greatest articles I think I've ever read. It's in a dialog form and starts about the second paragraph.
(it's long, but WELL worth the read!!!!)

Enjoy!

p.s. just want to mention...I'm loving SOW and intend to stick with it until the VERY end. This article is a woman's philosophy of schooling, but honestly it is more than that. I will stick with SOW, but in our home and life plan to apply these philosophies. And...let me say one more thing...the reason I am sticking with SOW is because - It gives God room to move in our schooling. It is a laid out plan, but you have room to venture out if the Holy Spirit leads you elsewhere for awhile. (like delight-directed studies, etc.) If that makes ANY sense at all!!!!!

p.p.s. I didn't mean to be so secretive when I spoke of "the letter." It was basically about how I've been too critical and harsh with my son. Just don't want anyone to think I'm being weird. :0)
